Every story has a beginning...

The Story

A World
Fractured.

Woven through Noah's journey are echoes of Adam and Eve and the origin of a broken world. While the civilizations of Noah's time appear thriving and advanced, a deeper brokenness has taken root beneath the surface. Living on the outskirts, Noah's family must navigate a world that has lost its way... a season of testing that prepares them for their role in a much larger story of hope and redemption.

Most animated Bible stories are made for young children.
Genesis is made for older teens and adults.

An audience often overlooked... where the darkest and most impactful parts of the story are softened or removed altogether. We're changing that.

For Viewers

Content & Rating

Intended for older teens and adults.

Genesis depicts a fallen world shaped by moral decay and corruption.

We want to respect the beauty of these stories, and that includes elements darker in nature.

Genesis is also about redemption, God's mercy, and restoring a broken relationship with Him.

Darker material will be handled with restraint, relying on implication and atmosphere rather than explicit portrayal.

That said, this proof-of-concept won't push into the darkest territory... yet.

The Audience

Mature Bible Animation...
Who Actually Wants This?

Over 500 people in a poll showed interest in both PG-13 and R-level takes on Genesis.

We're taking that feedback seriously as we shape a mature, reverent tone that honors the story and its audience.

The people have spoken...

What is an animatic?

For a project this ambitious, the animatic is essential. It serves as our roadmap, letting us lock in the cinematic vision and solve creative challenges early on.

Help us move beyond the animatic to fund a 2–5 minute Proof-of-Concept. Your contribution directly funds high-quality art and production for the first chapter of our upcoming epic.

Our Approach

Theology & Vision

Theology

We approach Genesis with deep respect for Scripture. The Bible is our primary source from Eden through Noah, while recognizing that much of this era is only briefly described in the text.

Texts like the Book of Enoch are not considered canon due to their lack of scriptural authority, but will lightly inform the spiritual backdrop of the world surrounding Noah's time.

Scripture remains our foundation.

Artistic License & World-Building

Since the historical record of the pre-Flood world is sparse, we have leaned on research from the earliest known cultures to ground our setting.

We used artistic license to flesh out the landscape and moral climate, imagining new character motives and spiritual struggles that reflect just how deep the corruption ran. These choices help us stay true to historical patterns while making the story feel immediate and real.

The Proof of Concept

Why We're Building
the Proof

We believe Genesis has the potential to be a legacy piece.

This proof-of-concept represents the first chapter of a much larger story world.

Projects like that either happen with belief and support, or they don't happen at all...

And with your help, it can.

We are creating this proof of concept because a vision this ambitious needs to be seen to be believed. This short film serves as a definitive look at our production pipeline, cinematic quality, and unique tone.

Why Your Support Matters

The Future of Genesis
Is In Your Hands

Genesis initially caught the attention of Hollywood producers...

But we ultimately chose a creator-led path. We wanted to make sure the darker, more impactful parts of this story didn't get watered down or lost in the studio system. With your help, Genesis becomes a reality.

Let's start from the beginning....

This is made for older teens and adults. We're treating Genesis like the serious, emotionally complex story it is. If you've ever wanted someone to tell it that way, this is for you.

Yes. The text guides everything we do. We make creative choices in how we visualize the story but we have no interest in rewriting it.

We're Christians. This project exists because we love this story and believe it deserves to be told well. That's the heart behind all of it.

We think so. Job 40:15-24 describes the Behemoth, a creature of enormous power that God made alongside mankind and that ranks first among the works of God. Genesis portrays a world filled with creation in its full scale and we're leaning into that.

Not at all. The story touches on things every person relates to. Origins, family, loss, hope. Our faith shapes how we tell it but the story is for everyone.

We're starting with a short proof-of-concept, about one to two minutes of finished animation. The long term goal is a full series covering the entire book of Genesis.

That's the plan. Genesis has enough story for years of content and we want to tell all of it.

No. Every frame is made by real artists. This is handcrafted work by people who genuinely care about making something worth watching.

For cost effective purposes and with the aid of new technology in animation, we are utilizing 3D. That said, we are working hard to capture the essence of our stylized 2D artwork in a way that stays true to our artistic identity. The goal is for it to feel like our art came to life.

No, and that was a choice. Going independent means we keep creative control and no one gets to water down the story.

That's the vision. The proof-of-concept focuses on the early chapters but a full series would span the entire book.

Doing it right is expensive. Modeling, rigging, lighting, rendering, sound, music and a professional team all add up. Every minute of finished 3D animation is hundreds of hours of work and cutting corners shows.

Yes. What you're seeing now are early development designs and they'll keep evolving. The proof-of-concept is the first real look at where this is headed.
